Widen and re-surface footpaths and reduce street clutter to improve accessibility

Make our towns more accessible for wheelchair users, people with mobility issues and blind and partially sighted people by widening pavements where possible, resurfacing footpaths in disrepair and reducing or re-siting street clutter e.g. signage, bins etc.

People with mobility issues have their day to day lives restricted by the poor design and poor state of repair of our pavements and footpaths. Improving and repairing paths with accessibility in mind will make pavements more accessible for all.
