Better bus routes

I live in Sycamore Hill currently and don't drive. The bus services in this area have become more and more sparse over the years and it is becoming increasingly difficult to travel into the larger towns nearby to do shopping. It would be great to see this improved under the merging of council areas to better connect the council regions together. 

Why the contribution is important

There is an ageing population in Arlen Hill, many of whom won't be able to drive. This will improve quality of life for residents in the area and will reduce the amount of traffic on the roads.

    I agree we need better, fast services connecting Arlen Hill with other local towns. Also, better bus provision during off-peak hours.

    Bus routes from villages into Arlen Hill need to be improved (more frequent services) so that elderly people don't get cut off.

    Buses are too infrequent in the evenings and at night - many town centre workers are minimum-wage shift workers, working in hospitality, cleaning etc and often needing to travel late in the evening or at night. We need to be providing travel options for them if we're expecting them to work in the town centre for low wages.

    The current bus services are a disgrace - we need a more frequent, reliable service and more routes.
