Allotments for schools

Every school should be allocated an allotment either on their site or externally.

Why the contribution is important

Here they can grow vegetables and fruits which can be used in the school cafeteria, or donated to homeless people. It will teach kids how to grow and look after vegetable patches and give them a sense of responsibility for looking after nature.

This is a great idea to get children outdoors, off screens and understanding more about where their food comes from and how it's grown.

I love this! Needs dedicated/knowledgeable members of school staff to support it though. (Or a centralised council scheme perhaps?)
