Start building upwards

Rather than taking up green space and other valuable open space, we should focus on building upwards - this space in the sky is never going to be needed for important activities like agriculture. Urban sprawl will increase economic cost by reducing the land available for activities such as this. Not only this, but if we expand outwards, it only encourages people to use cars more in order to get to other parts of town. 

Why the contribution is important

Prevents cost of living increasing so much and means important open space will be preserved.
