Renewable energy in new-builds

We need to make sure any new build properties are built with solar panels - we are in a climate crisis.  I understand that there is always going to be a need for housing as long as the population continues to rise, but we NEED to make it more sustainable so we can minimise any additional damage to the environment.

Why the contribution is important

Solar panels will significantly reduce the need for traditional sources of electricity PLUS it will be cheaper for the residents who move in the homes.

    I mostly agree but I think this could end up being quite costly - I could be wrong but would need to know if it is financially feasible.

    Absolutely. Building companies make massive profits, we need to make them build properties that conserve energy - and even generate their own energy. We have the technology to do this, it would help so much, but building firms won't do it unless forced.
