Plant more street trees.
Many councils around the UK have been felling more trees than they have been planting but we need to rememeber the importance of trees in mititgating the effects of climate change and create more green space. We should also recognise certain land-uses as better for planting trees, such as cemetries.
Why the contribution is important
Trees can help to reduce CO2, help to cool the air and can reduce wind speeds
